The 3rd Annual Amazing Beaches of 59 Race
AFTER YOU HAVE PAID FOR YOUR TEAM, EACH TEAM MEMBER MUST FILL IN THIS WAIVER AGREEMENT.
AMAZING BEACHES OF 59 RACE – August 10, 2024, 11:30 AM to 6:00 PM
Location: RM of Alexander, RM of St Clements, Patricia Beach Provincial Park, Grand Beach Provincial Park, RM of Victoria Beach. An event geared toward intermediate participants in teams of 4 which navigate from stop to stop by solving clues or overcoming challenges guided by volunteers.
RELEASE AND INDEMNIFICATION AGREEMENT:
I, the participant upon registering for this event, hereby release the Municipality of Alexander, Municipality of St. Clements, Municipality of Victoria Beach, Provincial Parks of Manitoba, and Beaches of 59 and its agents from any and all liability for any injury sustained by me, or damage caused to my belongings, regardless of how caused, resulting from my participation in the Amazing Beaches of 59 Race on August 10th, 2024. I further agree to indemnify and save harmless the Municipality of Alexander, Municipality of St. Clements, Municipality of Victoria Beach, Provincial Parks of Manitoba, and Beaches of 59 and its staff and agents from any and all suits, demands, torts, and actions of any kind which may be brought against its staff or agents for which it / they may become liable by reason of injury, loss, damage or death resulting from, or occasioned to, or suffered by any person or any property, by reason of any act, neglect, or default of mine. This includes any actual or alleged loss, liability, damage, compensation, injury, sickness, disease, death, medical payment, defence cost, cost, expense or any other amount, directly or indirectly and regardless of any other cause contributing concurrently or in any sequence, originating from, caused by, arising out of, contributed to by, resulting from, or otherwise in connection with a Communicable Disease or the fear or threat (whether actual or perceived) of a Communicable Disease. ** Communicable Disease means any disease which can be transmitted by means of any substance or agent from any organism to another organism where: the substance or agent includes, but is not limited to, a virus, bacterium, parasite or other organism or any variation thereof, whether deemed living or not, and the method of transmission, whether direct or indirect, includes but is not limited to, airborne transmission, bodily fluid transmission, transmission from or to any surface or object, solid, liquid or gas or between organisms, and the disease, substance or agent can cause or threaten bodily injury, illness, emotional distress, damage to human health, human welfare or property damage.
PHOTO/VIDEO RELEASE:
By registering for the Amazing Beaches of 59 Race event, I give my permission to the organization known as Beaches of 59, and their volunteers, to take photograph/videos of me and use them for any marketing purpose (print, social media, website, and all other forms of media). I understand that I will not be paid for this and have no rights to them. I hereby release Beaches of 59 and its agents and employees from all claims, demands, and liabilities whatsoever in connection with the above.
I HAVE READ THIS RELEASE AND BY REGISTERING MYSELF OR MY CHILD FOR THE AMAZING BEACHES OF 59 RACE EVENT WE UNDERSTAND AND AGREE TO THE TERMS. EVERY PARTICIPANT OR THEIR GUARDIAN MUST COMPLETE THIS WAIVER.
